Perugia chief Luciano Gaucci has penned an agreement to buy out struggling giants Napoli from the Serie B!
“I am very happy for both Napoli and myself,” announced the fiery businessman on a local radio station. “If the institutions of football are understanding, as they have been with other clubs, then we will make Napoli great again.”
Gaucci now seems to be the Stadio San Paolo’s saviour and pledged to pump £16m into the side over the next five years, plus another £15m to buy out the club, but first he must find away around the rules of the Italian football federation (FIGC). If all goes well Napoli will take up the top spot again soon, just like in Championship Manager! |
